What exactly is a sachet?

Sachets are natural air fresheners made from coconut, soy, and beeswax, dried flowers, herbs, spices & essential oils. Unlike candles or wax melts, scented wax sachets do not need to be heated.

While candles are our total obsession, we recommend using wax sachets as a flame-free alternative for people with pets who like to climb on furniture or in homes with small children who haven't yet learned the dangers of touching flames; however, the primary use of our sachets is in closets, drawers, or very small spaces.

How long do our sachets last? Can they melt?

Sachets are made of wax so it is super important that you NEVER place them in the car, or anywhere very hot, as they will melt.

These sachets have a shelf life of approximately 4-6 months. The intensity of the aroma will always be determined by the concentration of essential oil, the fragrance additives used, and the location of the sachet. For example, if you keep the sachet exposed to direct sunlight or heat, the essential oils will evaporate faster, and they may even melt. As a result, the aroma will not last long. However, those we produce for the holiday season as ornaments can be stored in a zip-lock bag or the same box they were packed in, and they will retain their fragrance. Additionally, if the fragrance fades, you can melt them in a burner or wax-warmer like wax melts, and they will release their fragrance again.
